One Year Anniversary! Partnering with NMMHH

We are excited to announce the first anniversary of our partnership with the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline and Postpartum Support Virginia! This collaboration has greatly enhanced support and resources for maternal mental health, ensuring that mothers and families have access to essential, compassionate assistance during one of the most transformative times in their lives.

Over the past year, our partnership has achieved the following:

● Provided free, confidential, 24/7 support through the NMMHH, connecting individuals with trained counselors and community resources. This service offers immediate emotional support for anyone who calls or texts.

● Expanded access to culturally responsive care in Virginia by offering referrals to local mental health providers, support groups, and counseling services through Postpartum Support Virginia.

The NMMHH team stated, “As of October 31, 2024, the NMMHH has proudly supported over 50,000 callers and texters since its inception. Our partnership with Postpartum Support Virginia amplifies NMMHH’s ability to assist pregnant and postpartum individuals throughout Virginia. Together, we offer 24/7 access to caring, confidential support, ensuring there is always someone to talk to in times of need. Whether it is immediate emotional support or help finding local resources, we are here. We look forward to seeing this partnership continue to grow and make a positive impact for families across Virginia.”

We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this partnership’s success over the past year. Together, we look forward to expanding our reach and supporting even more families across Virginia in the year ahead.
