The National Council for Behavioral Health is the unifying voice of America’s community mental health and addictions treatment organizations. Together with 2,500 member organizations, it serves more than eight million adults and children living with mental illnesses and addiction disorders. The organization is committed to ensuring all Americans have access to comprehensive, high-quality care that affords every opportunity for recovery and full participation in community life.
The National Council for Behavioral Health presents 20 Awards of Excellence each year in the following categories: Advocacy, Change Maker, Helping Hands, Impact, Visionary Leadership, and Inspiring Hope. Each award carries a generous $10,000 grant for an organization of the honoree’s choosing. Honorees will be recognized at the Celebration of Excellence Concert & Awards Dinner on March 8, 2016 during the 2016 National Council Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
